Hey guys. So we just found out that their going to release The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Film in Japanese Theaters in Spring 2010.
So I was just hoping that ppl would all talk about the movie and give you opinion or what your hoping for the movie like hoping for the movie to be officialy long or hoping there's not going to take out parts from the novel.
I hope the movie is long. At least 2 1/2 hours longer or longer. And I hope they don't change the animation. I mean they already change the animation for Clannad and Air The Movie.
When the movie comes out for download for subs, I'm going to download it at night, then when it's downloading, I'm to walk my dog, go to the store for a treasure chest of snacks and munchies and beverages, go home and clean my whole room from top to bottom. Then when it's done downloading, I'm going to hook it up onto my bueatiful flat screen 51 inch T.V. and watch it in bed. Oh Yes. Oh and big comfy blankets and pillows and my a.c on full blast and Surround sound (if the movie is in really good High Definition).

I can't wait for this movie. It's certainly a huge break from Endless Eight.
I'm hopefully going to see it in Japanese theaters this coming spring. I was planning on going to Japan then anyway, but I may just have to plan the trip around the release date.

All we got for season 2 was one bamboo leaf rhapsody, 8 episodes of endless eight, and 5(i think) episodes of sighs.
I definately am looking forward to dissapearance. I was really hoping it would come out in season 2 though. After reading the light novel, i just cant wait for this. ><

I am actually gonna wait for the movie to come out. what I hope that they do is that FUNimation license it or at least gets a dub as well to come out quick here to the US. I actually have some patience so I can wait for sometime.

With all I heard about over the disappointment of more than half of season two being Endless Eight episodes I'm a little split in my feelings about the movie announcement. While I am glad they are doing the movie, I would have loved a third season for Disappearance and other stories that had not been covered yet. Still, I'm not complaining and I hope the powers that be provide a legal way me to get this as soon as possible.

well, as of 2 days ago, the movie is officially released in theaters in japan! cant seem to find any movie reviews yet however

So we all know that The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya has been licensed by Bandai. They will be releasing the 2nd season shortly... WAIT!! That's not what I wanted to say... LOL They are screening the movie in Hawaii in Mid-June... sad thing is... I'll be in Japan when it is being shown  _________________

my experience with bandai dubs isnt stellar. hopefully they get this one right.
2nd series should also be great if done correctly
